Last month we covered some of the major reasons Kmart has ended up where it is today. There are others, of course, but those we discussed were a few of the most obvious and more commonly cited problems. This month I want to do two things:
1. I want to show what Kmart needs to do to become the profitable company it once was, while at the same time speculate a little on what they might do to assure their turn around is successful.
2. And I also want to cover what we as $mart Retailer$ can do to lessen our chances of winding up with the same problems Kmart faces today.
Thanks and may your registers always be full,
Jim Nannen
