A little About Us

What are we all about? Let’s take from the top. If you noticed the company’s name is Mommy’s Helper Network. We own a series of domains, which we will be putting up in the future. Enough said about us. Now back to Storeops.com and what is all about.

The concept of this site, to explore managerial issues pertaining to small and large companies, retail and office standards, i.e. how your office runs. Let us know it’s usually no secret when it comes to procedures and standards. For example, there are a million and one ways to review an employee and award them. But some times there are glitches, or maybe you just started your company and haven’t a clue. Now, we are not asking you to review specific details, just the generals. Think about, how many of your employees really know what your policies, standards, or procedures are. Let’s face it, if you want to be successful, there has to be plan, and your team should be included and informed. It shouldn’t be some sacred write, I can’t tell you how many times I have heard, "we don’t do that here"; or better yet, having been a consultant, an employee of the company would say; "I didn’t know that was our standard". It amazes how much I have heard this and wondered, is this person really part of the mission that the founders have set. I think you get the picture.

So our goal is to discuss these issues, to explore the alternatives. How do you get your employees to see the big picture, to work for that common goal of being successful? Are you implementing your office documentation that grabs their attention? Don’t laugh, it can be done and has been done. The end result can be a more affective work force and a group of people who want to succeed, and with that, you could be a successful company selling ice to the Eskimos!!

Also, we are hoping and looking for you new and soon to be college grads. Most of us remember what it was like getting out of school, especially during a rough economic climate. Just think, you can contribute to the site, whenever you want, ask questions, write an article, participate in the message board. This can be a place to strut your stuff. Yes, exploit yourself, your future boss may be reading this!!!
